Dear friends and Customers,
 
This is to inform you that Calexico Commercial Port of Entry among many other US Ports of Entry will be closed tomorrow Saturday, October 13th, 2018. CBP did not provide any contingency plans for Calexico Port, however, the Otay CA, Port will be open under a “Contingency Status Mode” accepting allowed shipments under the below schedule.
 
In order to use Otay Port of Entry:

1. Please contact our Calexico Office at compliance.clx@rljones.com and shippers@rljones.com today no later than 6:00pm in order to coordinate your importation or exportation through Otay CA.  We may document remotely through those ports or have our partner offices document directly.
2. If you will need a remote entry or shipper to cross through Otay Port , please send email as usual:
• Northbound to facturas@rljones.com , Southbound to shippers@rljones.com, but with a special indication as "This shipment will cross through Otay Port on Saturday".
3. Be sure Driver presents 2 copies of Mexican paper pedimento.

 
In order to set up your account and set up the system with your specific information we need time, please don’t hesitate in contacting us today if you are planning to use any of the alternate US Ports of Entry.  We will be helping you get ready for importing tomorrow or Sunday.
 
The CBP Schedules for Import or Export Port hours of Operation through Otay CA is:
 
OTAY, CA
Saturday
Northbound shipments 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (no bulk except for UCP/FAST, no HAZMAT)
Southbound shipments 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
 
Sunday
Northbound shipments 8:00 am to 2:00 pm  (UCP/FAST Shipments)
Northbound shipments for perishable 9:00am to 2:00pm
Southbound shipments: CLOSED
