As you may already know, Mexico government is planning to impose a 35% import tariff on certain textile products in order to protect Mexican textile industry. We suggest you contact your Mexican customs broker to obtain more information on how this new tariff may affect your operation in México.

In the meantime, we would like to share with you the following letter, which will be presented tomorrow to President Claudia Sheinbaum. If your company will be affected by this new tariff increase, we suggest you complete the enclosed letter and email to INDEX.

Como quizás ya sepa, el gobierno de México planea imponer un arancel de importación del 35% a ciertos productos textiles para proteger la industria textil mexicana. Le sugerimos comunicarse con su agente aduanal mexicano para obtener más información sobre cómo este nuevo arancel puede afectar su operación en México.

Mientras tanto, queremos compartir con ustedes la siguiente carta, que mañana será entregada a la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum. Si su empresa se verá afectada por este nuevo aumento tarifario, le sugerimos completar la carta adjunta y enviarla por correo electrónico a INDEX.
