The following notice is a reminder that there are certain agricultural products that are prohibited and others that may require an import permit issued by the United Stated Department of Agriculture to be entered into the USA.
If a shipment is subject to inspection by the local department of agriculture and you do not possess an import permit, or it does not clearly state the product being imported, and it is subject to such requirement, the shipment will be subject to rejection.
The Customs & Border Protection Field Office has announced that the Commercial POE of San Luis, AZ. has been selected to participate in the Risk-Based Sampling (RBS) Phase II Trial.

The following is to inform you about the upcoming " Memorial Day " Holiday Schedule observed Monday, May 27, 2019. U.S. Customs will be open for business and will follow the holidays schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Northbound), and from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Southbound).
The United States will lift its steel and aluminum tariffs on Canada and Mexico within the next two days. These tariffs, which have been in place since March 2018, may signal a sooner, rather than later, passing of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

We would like to share with you the following information in regards to new requirements for composite wood products. Beginning March 22, 2019, importers of certain types of composite wood products will need to comply under the TSCA Title VI Formaldehyde Emissions Standards.
