The following is to remind you that after an Import Document (Cargo Release MX-US) has been certified, there is a waiting time period requirement before entering CBP premises.

Currently the waiting time period requirements are:

• All Food FDA regulated merchandise- 2 hours
• General merchandise - 1 hour
• FAST general merchandise- 1/2 hour

Please note that CBP has advised that penalties will apply if any shipment arrives before the given time.
