Dear Friends and customers: CBP Calexico Cargo Officers have brought to our attention that they are encountering many errors on US Import e-manifest transmissions.

 
Most common errors are:
• incorrect “state” for tractor license plates
• incorrect drivers name and/or birth date on CBP/ACE data base
 
If errors continue, CBP will start returning trucks to Mexico, requiring compliance with Mexican Customs and preparation of import paperwork at an added expense. Since RL Jones does not have access nor visibility to the CBP/ACE data base, we ask that you please contact your border shuttle carriers to ensure they take necessary steps to make sure the data on CBP/ACE data base matches the information provided to us for e-Manifest transmission.
