Dear Friends and Customers:

This is a reminder that, as per Foreign Trade Regulations 15 CFR 30.4 (b)(2)(iii), truck cargo intended for US export must comply with a 1-hour prior notice. This means that Export shipments need to arrive at US Customs no sooner than 1 hour after the required Electronic Export Information (EEI) has been filed. Also, please keep in mind that, as per 15 CFR 30.6 (a), there are 27 mandatory data elements that are to be reported in the Automated Export System for each EEI transaction. As an example SCAS Codes. Please make sure you provide us with these mandatory data elements so that we may properly transmit EEI information. The aforementioned CFR also states conditional and optional data elements.
